Hotel Elba Am Kurfuerstendamm - Design Chambers - Berlin

Clean hotel, lovely staff.

we were in a particularly good and lovely location not very far from kaiser wilhelm memorial church. the place had a quiet atmosphere.

Clean and special place, delicious and tasty breakfast with a great selection of options. Marvellous and peaceful location with great views and so close to the shopping centre. Also, to other areas of Berlin.

I really liked the old architecture and how tranquil it felt. The room was huge, with a firm and comfortable bed. The turbo fan kept us cool even without AC. Plus, we got to catch the Olympic Games opening ceremony on the wall-mounted TV. Super clean too 😊

Location, Excellent breakfast

The entrance hall and lift gave a very bad impression indeed, we nearly left before even entering the hotel & room.When we opened the door to our room we were pleasntly suprised. The room was spacious, clean and the beds comfortable. The hotel owners will have to renovate the lift and hallway, we are not used to seeing bikes 'parked' in a hotel entrance!!!

Nice priced hotel near Kurfuerstendamm and in walken distance to serveral shops, bars, eating places and public transportation

Tv and mini-bar did not work and the breakfast was ok but not special. A bit far away from the old "Stadt mitte".

Great breakfast with daily new dishes.

The breakfast was very good!! I always looked forward to having breakfast when I stayed there. The staffs were very helpful and warm. The hotel itself is an old building but we felt quite at home. The location is great too, surrounded by boutiques and fine restaurants, just about the end of the Kurdamm street. We had a great time there, and definitely will stay there again.

Excellent location, good traffic, staff speaking in Russian, good breakfast, free internet at the reception and in the room too and you can print your boarding passes or anything else for free !!! wc and shower in the room - it's very good. Here is the lift for older person or families with children.

In the breakfest there could be warm dishes - omelette and sausages. There is only 1 key for room, so, if you are 2 or 3 people, you need return to hotel all together, because reception is working till 20:00 or 21:00. But it was not a big problem for us. :)

The room was huge and clean. We got to enjoy the unique decor that added a cozy touch. I really appreciated the tranquility throughout our stay!

charming, charming, charming

The historic building's beautiful staircase created an inviting atmosphere. I appreciated the spaciousness and cleanliness of my room with everything I needed for my two-night stay. The breakfast area, adorned with vintage furniture, served interesting options every morning.

This is a great little place to stay when in Berlin, the rooms are very nice and clean and offer everything you would expect from an international hotel

The only problem, the reception does not open before 8am, not that good for early check-outs

I am glad i did not take heed of some of the bad reviews about this hotel and their staff. The staff are foreign and different cultures quite simply have a different manner. They were though, when presented with questions/queries, answered them accordingly. The place is clean and breakfast plentiful, with varied choice to suit the majority of paletts. This hotel is also in a very classy area, when comparing to Alexander Platz etc but easy to travel to other site seeing places. The breakfast room and reception are on ground floor and by stairs or lift to second floor where the hotel rooms are. This is an old building with a degree of character, so do not expect extreme modern trendy.

I expected a complimentary upgrade for putting up with the horrors, but that was a delusion. Is it too much to ask for a clean bathroom without hair stuck to the fan? I almost gave a good review but just couldn't.

staff very friendly, everything OK but...

I asked non smoking room. The room was full of cigarette smell. Generaly, dear bookimg.com, it is problem with rooms for non smokers. Hotels do not respect requests for non smoking rooms.
